TOP FLIGHT is owned, operated, flown and mopped by Frank Carleton. Frank is a retired electrical engineer and native Texan. He attended undergraduate college at UT Austin and graduate school at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He married and adopted three GREAT kids while living in the Phoenix area, where he worked for a high tech startup in the satellite communications industry. ​

After leaving electronics in 1998, Frank had stints in furniture building, residential construction, telecom consulting and finally discovered aerial photography in 2005.

A licensed pilot, Frank works solo for most of his photography assignments. He is an active member in and certified by the Professional Aerial Photographers Association. When not flying, Frank plays the odd game of golf. Very odd. He loves to ski and have lunch with friends. But best of all is time spent with family - all three kids (plus a husband we picked up along the way) live nearby.
